When an emergency occurs, we appreciate talking to you, the patient, rather than friends or relatives. You are much more able to identify your particular problem, and this will help us make a decision as to whether this can wait for later evaluation or if you should be seen in the hospital emergency room area. Please identify yourself and which physician you see regularly. Please identify if you are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
