OB-GYN Associates PC receives

recognition for quality laboratory

services

We at OB-GYN Associates PC are pleased to announce we have met all criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA, a national healthcare accreditation organization. Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey. OB-GYN Associates PC has earned COLA accreditation as a result of a long-term commitment to provide quality service to our patients…just one more good reason for you to trust our experience!

Following is the letter from COLA accompanying our award:

Dear Laboratory Director and Staff:

Congratulations! You have been selected as a recipient of the COLA Laboratory Excellence Award!

This award signifies your laboratory’s commitment to performing quality patient testing and overall laboratory practices. The Laboratory Excellence Award is achieved by those COLA laboratories that are found to be compliant with all COLA essential and required criteria at the time of their on-site survey. In addition, award recipients must have demonstrated successful proficiency testing for the prior three testing events and have no valid complaints against the laboratory.

Please proudly display this plaque in your laboratory or waiting room so that your patients will be aware of the quality work you are performing to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

As always, we are here to answer any of your technical, regulatory, or operational questions. Please call the COLA Call Center at 800-981-9883 or visit our web site at www.cola.org if we can assist you in any way.

Sincerely,

Donna Sweet, MD
